“Kids from all around the state go to different cities for college. However, when they first registered to vote, they did so at their home address which is different than their school address. This means that in order to vote, these individuals need to go back home. Not every student has the means to do this.”

“Colleges need to engage student voters by allowing them to register to vote at their dorm campus which can be done in numerous ways such as on moving day or during orientation. Not doing so is limiting the voice of the future.”

Requiring public universities and colleges to assist register incoming students helps avoid confusion at the polls and ensures that all students can make their voices heard at the ballot box.
